So reinstalling the windows is not an option. However, no matter what I did in the BIOS ( changed the boot order, disabled the HDD for the boot options.) I could not make the laptop boot first from the USB flashdrive It always went for the broken Windows in the HDD. I gave up on the idea to save the C partision and I created a USB WIndows installer with the Idea to reinstall Windows. Every time when I restart the laptop it either gets stuck in booting Windows or attempts to repair for a few seconds and then it goes to a black screen.
#Usb burning tool unable to start correctly how to#
After hard shutdown, Windows started with an attempt to repair, but just after a few seconds it went to a black screen and stayed like this for about 30min before I shut it down again.Īfter reading a lot of post on how to go into recovery mode so I can boot Windows in "Safe Mode", I attempted a lot of things including restarting it 3 times( a lot more than 3.), pressing on boot F8, my BIOS doesnt have the option to start in "Safe Mode" and etc, but nothing seemed to work. The second attempt to turn on the laptop resulted in Windows getting stuck in boot (for at least 20 min). Today when I turned on my laptop, Windows failed to load and gave me a BSOD. I have an old laptop with a 3TB Seagate HDD that in the past has caused me some trouble.
